Legal
Terms of service
Last drafted 1 August 2026.
Draft — pending legal review. This page describes what the platform actually stores and how it is processed, written directly from the codebase. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and is not a finished legal document. Do not treat it as binding until that review is complete.
What this covers
These terms cover the licence to use Castkom Event OS: configuring events, collecting registrations, issuing tickets, checking attendees in, printing badges and capturing exhibitor leads. They do not cover the event itself — what an organiser charges their own attendees, what happens at the venue, and any agreement between an organiser and their attendees, exhibitors or sponsors is between those parties, not something Castkom is a party to.
Licensing
Castkom is licensed per event, not as a per-seat subscription. Each licensed event carries a set allotment of approved-visitor credits, plus whichever optional modules — badge printing, WhatsApp ticket delivery, pre-printed badge batches — the purchased pack includes. See the pricing page for what each tier carries.
Visitor credits — what actually consumes one
A visitor credit is consumed when a registration is approved, not when it is submitted. A registration that is rejected, withdrawn, or simply left pending never draws down the allotment. Approved visitors beyond a pack's included allotment are billed per additional visitor at the rate stated on the pricing page.
Exhibitor lead capture
Booth logins and lead capture carry no additional per-device or per-exhibitor charge on any pack that includes the module, and there is no cap on how many booth logins an organiser issues. An organiser may charge their own exhibitors for access to lead capture if they choose to — what an organiser charges its exhibitors is between the organiser and the exhibitor, and Castkom takes no share of it.
Fees, GST, and how payment is accepted
All prices quoted are exclusive of GST, which is added at the applicable rate on top of the figure shown. We accept payment against a purchase order and by NEFT bank transfer, in addition to any other method agreed at the time of purchase — reflecting how Indian event companies typically buy software, rather than requiring a card on file.
What Castkom does not do
Castkom does not process payments of any kind — not for licence fees, and not on an organiser's behalf for tickets sold to their own attendees. There is no payment-processing integration built into this platform. Castkom takes no share, commission or percentage of any ticket revenue an organiser collects from attendees; whatever an organiser charges attendees, and however they collect it, happens entirely outside this platform and outside this agreement.
Self-hosting
Where a customer runs the platform on infrastructure they control rather than infrastructure Castkom operates, this licence covers use of the software. Operating, securing and maintaining that infrastructure is the customer's own responsibility, and Castkom has no visibility into data held on infrastructure it does not operate.
Data responsibility
Attendee data collected through an organiser's event belongs to that organiser, not to Castkom — see the privacy policy for the full explanation. An organiser is responsible for collecting that data lawfully through the platform, including obtaining whatever consent applies and being accurate about what their registration form actually asks attendees for.

Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top of this page whenever these terms change in a way that matters. Because this page is still marked draft, expect it to change at least once more — when legal review is complete.
